7.3. How to Edit a Request

After creating a request, the Edit window will open automatically.

In the Edit window, you can:

  • Edit Name, Project, and Description of the request.

  • Change the request’s Status.

  • Send Messages to the client to whom the request is assigned. You can integrate live chat or support tickets via API into the site and then communicate with the customer via these messages.

To send message to the client:

  1. In the Edit tab, go to the Messages section.

  2. Enter a message that is at least 10 characters long. Attach a file if necessary.

  3. Press Enter.

Status shows what is happening with the request. For example, if it is being processed.

Once a request is created, it is automatically assigned a Default status. On the Edit tab, you can assign a new status to the request and check the last status update:

Note: You can add or edit statuses that are assigned to requests in the Settings module (Statuses tab of the Configurations section).
