# 2. Google TFA

Google TFA (Two-Factor Authentication) is a method of identity verification using an external application that generates a code. We recommend using **Google Authenticator** for this purpose.

**How it works:**

1. The first time you log in after enabling Google TFA in **Configurations**, enter your login and password.
2. A **QR code** will appear. Scan it with Google Authenticator or another authentication application.
3. You will also be shown a **secret code**. Copy and save it in a safe place, as it may be needed to regain access to your authenticator in case your phone is lost or damaged.
4. Click **Next**.
5. Fields will appear where you need to enter the code generated by Google Authenticator (or another authentication app).

In future logins, the CRM will also ask for the generated code. This code changes every minute.
